Step 1: Prepare gill for medium-low heat.
Step 2: In a saucepan over medium-low heat cook the first three ingredients (-butter) plus 1/4 cup oil for 7-10 minutes or until nuts are golden brown, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in the paprika, brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Grate the garlic and add in, stir to combine. Set aside.
Step 3: Place the leeks in a bowl and toss with 3 tablespoons oil and 1 teaspoon kosher salt; season with pepper.
Step 4: Arrange leeks, cut side down, on grate. Cover and grill for 10-15 minutes (undisturbed) until charred underneath, using tongs turn leeks over and cover grill and grill for another 10-15 minutes or until charred and soft inside.
Step 5: Transfer leeks to platter and drizzle vinegar over top and then top with the sauce and nuts.
