Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Icing:
- 1/4 cup butter,melted
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups powdered sugar,(no amount given)
- 2 drops red food coloring
How to Make

Step 1: Sift flour salt and baking powder in a bowl

Step 2: In another bowl

Step 3: Cream shortening and butter

Step 4: Add sugar

Step 5: Add egg

Step 6: Beat until creamy

Step 7: Add milk and vanilla

Step 8: Add dry ingredients

Step 9: Wrap and chill

Step 10: Heat oven to 375 degrees

Step 11: Roll out to 1/8 inch
