Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2: Butter a 9 inch glass pie plate.
Step 3: Arrange apples in pie plate, mounding them in center.
Step 4: Pour orange juice over apples.
Step 5: In bowl
Step 6: Sift sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt together
Step 7: With pastry blender or 2 knives,
Step 8: Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
Step 9: Sprinkle over apples.
Step 10: Bake 45 to 55 minutes, until topping is browned and apples are tender.
Step 11: Serve warm with heavy cream
