Step 1: Soak beans overnight
Step 2: Drain
Step 3: Add to slow cooker add onions that you have peeled and trimmed .leave whole
Step 4: Add bacon grease and ham hocks.
Step 5: Add water
Step 6: Cook on low for 5 hours in slow cooker
Step 7: Add corn and seasonings cook until warmed about 30 minutes
