Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar,packed
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Frosting:
- 2 tablespoons butter,softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese,softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons orange juice
- 1/2 cup pecans,chopped
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2: In one bowl sift dry ingredients together

Step 3: In bowl combine sugar in oil

Step 4: With mixer on medium

Step 5: Add eggs one at a time

Step 6: Add pumpkin

Step 7: Gradually add the flour mixture

Step 8: Grease and flour and spray pam 2 8 inch round pans

Step 9: Divide pumpkin mixture into pans

Step 10: Bake for 30 minutes or until 0done check 20 minutes

Step 11: Cool on rack 10 minutes

Step 12: Remove from pan

Step 13: Cool frost

Step 14: Cream butter and cream cheese

Step 15: Add sifted sugar

Step 16: Add orange juice

Step 17: Frost cake

Step 18: Place nuts on sides
