Step 1: Preheat oven to 400f degrees. Wash and Snap the tough ends off the asparagus and place in an oven proof dish.
Step 2: Drizzle the olive oil over and sprinkle with the thyme and salt and freshly ground pepper. Toss gently and roast for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Alternately, place all as above into a microwave dish and microwave covered on high for 2 minutes.
