2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (dark looks best)
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup whole milk (may need a bit more or less as noted in the method to add a tablespoon at a time)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
How to Make
Step 1:
Mix butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Slowly add milk and extract. Add more milk a tablespoon at a time until the desired texture and volume is reached.
NOTE: This is a perfect frosting for a cake, cupcakes, cookies, etc.
