Kittencal's White Cake

Ingredients
- 1 package (18 ounce) white cake mix (moist deluxe white cake mix such as Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Classic White Cake Mix)
- 1/3 cup 7-UP (or Sprite, do not allow soda to get flat)
- 1/3 cup oil (vegetable oil or canola oil)
- 4 egg whites (from large eggs)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar (optional)
- 8 ounces sour cream (1 cup)
How to Make

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (set oven rack to second-lowest position).

Step 2: In a bowl beat egg whites with sugar (about 3 minutes). Add oil and 7-Up; beat until combined. Add in sour cream beat until combined.

Step 3: Add in the cake mix and beat until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan (the batter will be quite thick so you will need to spread out with back of a spoon). Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.
