Step 1: Chop the onion and put it into the crock pot. Then cut the potatoes, placing them in next.
Step 2: Add the green beans.
Step 3: Cut up the smoked sausage and place it into the crock pot.
Step 4: Pour one cup of chicken broth over the top of everything, then salt and pepper according to your taste.
Step 5: Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 hours.
