Step 1: Cut bacon into 1" pieces. Cook in skillet on medium low heat until crisp. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Remove skillet from heat, add mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, salt; mix well.
Step 2: In a large bowl combine potatoes, eggs, celery and onion. Add dressing and toss in bacon. Cover and chill several hours before serving. Add in salt and pepper to your taste.
Step 3: Cover and chill several hours before serving.
