Step 1: Cut the ribs into two bone sections and place in a large pot.
Step 2: Cover with water and add brown sugar.
Step 3: Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium low; simmer for 15 minutes; drain.
Step 4: Bring grill to medium heat.
Step 5: Drizzle garlic salt over ribs and place on grill.
Step 6: Brush with bbq sauce.
Step 7: Cook until done turning and brushing with more sauce as needed.
Step 8: Serve.
