Step 1: First butter pan 3 quart heavy saucepan combine and cook on low stirring constantly until scalded and melted 3 squares chocolate, milk stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt
Step 2: Cook on medium stir until sugar dissolves. dont stir til softball 236-238
Step 3: Remove from heat add butter
Step 4: Stand until cooled, lukewarm 110
Step 5: Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla stir until looses gloss. stir in 1/2 nuts, I'd use more pour buttered 8 inch square do not scrape pan 1 1/2 pounds
