Step 1: Preheat oven to 350
Step 2: Beat egg whites stiff
Step 3: Pour boiling water over cocoa
Step 4: Mix
Step 5: Cool
Step 6: Add milk, egg yolks and vanilla
Step 7: Cream butter and sugar
Step 8: Sift dry ingredients
Step 9: Add wet ingredients alternately with dry to creamed mixture
Step 10: Fold in egg whites
Step 11: If you want 1 cake grease and flour 9 inch square cake pan
Step 12: Bake 350 for 45 minutes or until toothpick come out clean
Step 13: If you want a layer cakegrease and flour 2 round 8 inch cake pans and bake 25 (check at 15 minutes )minutes in 375 degree oven
