Step 1: In stock pot add ham and beans and onions with the water season
Step 2: Cook for 2 hours
Step 3: Add parsley and potatoes
Step 4: Start making noodles
Step 5: Mix water, salt and eggs with softened shortening
Step 6: Add flour
Step 7: Rollout on floured board a thin rectangle
Step 8: Cut in 1 inch rectangles
Step 9: Drop into rolling boil bean pot
Step 10: As many noodles as you want
Step 11: Cook until noodles float
