Step 1: Preheat oven to 375F
Step 2: In a medium mixing bowl combine the 1 cup flour and salt.
Step 3: Cut in the butter until crumbly and then press into the bottom of a lightly greased 11x7x1-1/2-inch baking pan.
Step 4: Bake for 12 minutes.
Step 5: Meanwhile, in a small saucepan combine apricots and enough water to cover.
Step 6: Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes; drain.
Step 7: In a large mixing bowl stir together brown sugar and eggs until combined.
Step 8: Stir in drained apricots, the 1 cup walnuts, the coconut, and vanilla.
Step 9: Add the 2 tablespoons flour; stir until combined.
Step 10: Spread apricot mixture evenly over baked crust.
Step 11: Bake in the 375 degree F. oven for 15 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Step 12: Drizzle with a powdered sugar icing, and cut into diamonds
