Step 1: Heat oil and butter
Step 2: Add onion cook until translucent . Add garlic then the rice and pasta. Cook until opaque.
Step 3: Add spices. Add broth add green onion; cover simmer on low 20 minutes. Let stand covered 5 minutes
Step 4: Fluff with a fork then add cheese if you wish
