Step 1: Arrange bread in a 9 inch x 12 inch pan. Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and Grand Marnier if using. Pour mixture over bread and refrigerate overnight.
Step 2: Saute in hot butter until bottom is golden brown; Turn and brown the other side. Repeat with each bread slice. Serve individually or keep warm and serve family style. Garnish with whipped cream, fresh berries, mint and a light sprinkle of icing sugar
