Step 1: Heat a large saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2: Add sausage, onion and chili flakes; cook stirring to crumble until browned (about 10 minutes) .
Step 3: Add broth, tomatoes, and pasta to pan, and bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 4: Reduce heat to low and simmer partially covered until pasta is done (about 15-20 minutes).
Step 5: Remove from heat; stir in spinach until wilted then mix in 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese.
Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7: Ladle into bowls and top with more Parmesan cheese.
