Step 1: Grate the green zest of the lime and juice the fruit.
Step 2: Wash the strawberries and remove the crowns.
Step 3: Halve the strawberries and mix them with the lime zest and juice, and the powdered sugar.
Step 4: Let marinate for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a deep plate with the milk and cinnamon sugar.
Step 6: Roll the bread into the egg-milk mixture and leave it in it so that the bread can absorb the mixture.
Step 7: Heat the butter in a large frying pan and toast the bread for 6 minutes on medium heat until golden brown.
Step 8: Turn halfway.
Step 9: Serve the French toast with the marinated strawberries
