Step 1: Add saffron to 2 tablespoons water to soak just a pinch of threads
Step 2: Saute green onions in butter until tender add garlic
Step 3: Add rice
Step 4: Add broth
Step 5: Add herbs and saffron
Step 6: Cover rice and simmer for 20 minutes
Step 7: Take out lemon peel
Step 8: Mix in peas olives and almonds
