Step 1: In a large bowl beat the cream cheese, sour cream, 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla until blended. Add grapes and toss to coat. Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
Step 2: Just before serving mix in apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans. Serve immediately.
