Step 1: Beat together the sugar, shortening and eggs. Add squash and beat.
Step 2: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add these dry ingredients to the squash batter along with the milk. Stir in nuts.
Step 3: Pour batter into greased bundt pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
