Step 1: Preheat oven to 450F degrees.
Step 2: Pound chicken breasts lightly so they are of an even thickness.
Step 3: Pour olive oil into a 13" x 9" baking dish.
Step 4: Lightly dredge the chicken through to coat it, then place chicken breast side by side in the dish.
Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and chilli powder and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over bother sides of the chicken and rub it in with your hands and place the chicken breasts side by side, making sure there is no overlap.
Step 6: Bake in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until juices are clear or a meat thermometer reads 160-170F degrees - NOTE depending on the size of your chicken breasts, it could take longer, the time was worked on the chicken being less than an inch thick.
Step 7: Cover with foil and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes while the juices settle before slicing.
Step 8: Serve hot.
