Step 1: Bring the water with salt added to a rolling boil
Step 2: Add raw brown rice
Step 3: Swirl the pan to combine - DO NOT STIR
Step 4: Bring rice to a boil
Step 5: Cover saucepan with a tight fitting lid
Step 6: Turn heat to the lowest possible setting
Step 7: Cook 40 minutes
Step 8: Uncover: place a tea towel over the pan, cover tightly
Step 9: Let the rice stand (no heat) for 20 minutes to firm
Step 10: Remove lid
Step 11: Fluff with a fork and serve
