Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Grease a loaf pan (or spray with cooking spray).
Step 3: Mix sugar, bananas, oil (or applesauce sub) and eggs into a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour batter into pan.
Step 4: Bake until wooden pick inserted in center of bread comes out clean, 60-70 minutes.
Step 5: Let cool 10 minutes, then loosen the sides of the pan using a knife and remove loaf. I remove the loaf by placing a cooling rack on top of the loaf pan, flipping it over using pot holders, then quickly turning the bread back rightside up. Cool completely before slicing.
