Ingredients
- 5 pound pork shoulder roast
- 3 yellow onions (sliced)
- 1 cup water
- FOR RUB
- 2 tablespoons lard
- 1 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons caraway
- 2 cloves garlic (smashed with back of a spoon)
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How to Make

Step 1: Put onions in bottom of roasting pan. Place roast on top.

Step 2: Mix the rub ingredients together, then rub into the meat.

Step 3: Pour water into onions

Step 4: Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 3 hours until done.
