Step 1: Combine sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan; whisk in orange juice.
Step 2: Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly; boil 1 minute.
Step 3: Remove from heat, and whisk in lemon zest and juice.
Step 4: Cool 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5: Transfer to an airtight container;
Step 6: Place heavy-duty plastic wrap directly on warm sauce (to prevent a film from forming);
Step 7: Chill 2 hours before serving.
Step 8: Store in refrigerator, with plastic wrap on surface of sauce, up to 1 week.
