Step 1: Combine the first 4 ingredients plus 2 teaspoons oil in a large bowl and then stir in the lamb cubes; cover and let stand for 2 hours.
Step 2: Preheat grill.
Step 3: Brush the zucchini slices lightly with oil. Pat sugar onto each orange section.
Step 4: Divide meat equally into fours. You should have 5 pieces per person. On each skewer, place a piece of meat, then zucchini,m eat, orange, zucchini, meat, zucchini, orange, meat, zucchini, ending with meat. Brush with marinade.
Step 5: Brush the grid highly with oil.
Step 6: Grill the kabobs over hot or high heat 3-5 minutes per side.
