Step 1: Mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar and garlic powder together in a small bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Season the fish generously with ground pepper and place skin side down on a parchment paper lined baking sheet; brush all of the sauce over the flesh of the fish.
Step 3: Place in a preheated 375 degree Fahrenheit oven and cook for 15 to 17 minutes until the fish flakes easily when poked with a fork. (The cook time will vary depending on how thick the filets are)
Step 4: Enjoy!
