Step 1: Grease a six hole Texas muffin pan (3/4 cup capacity).
Step 2: Place flour and butter into a food processor and process until mixture resembles find breadcrumbs and then transfer to a large bowl and add combined milk and egg and stir with a table knife until almost combined.
Step 3: Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until dough comes together and then roll out dough to form a 25cm x 35cm rectangle.
Step 4: Spread evenly with tomato sauce, sprinkle with bacon and 1 1/5 cups of the cheese.
Step 5: Starting from one long side, roll up to enclose the filling and then trim ends and cut roll into six equal slices.
Step 6: Place cut side up into the prepared pan holes and sprinkle with remaining cheese and cook in a hot oven (200C) for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked.
Step 7: Turn scrolls onto a wire rack to cool.
