Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons white flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg--beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How to Make

Step 1: In a saucepan, melt the butter; remove from heat.

Step 2: Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Step 3: Line a cookie sheet with foil; do not grease.

Step 4: Drop by 1/2 teaspoons onto the foil about 4" apart and bake in a 400 degree oven for 8 minutes--WATCH CAREFULLY; allow to cool on foil.
