Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Candied fruits, nuts, currants, raisins or candied peels
How to Make

Step 1: Heat oven to 400

Step 2: Cream butter, and sugar

Step 3: Add in remaining ingredients

Step 4: Fill cookie press with 1/4 of the dough at a time.

Step 5: Form desired shapes on an ungreased baking sheet

Step 6: Decorate cookies with candied fruits, nuts, currants, raisins or candied peels

Step 7: Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set, but not brown
