Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (melted)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
- 36 cinnamon hearts
How to Make

Step 1: Heat oven to 400

Step 2: Cream butter, chocolate, and sugar

Step 3: Add in remaining ingredients

Step 4: Fill cookie press with 1/4 of the dough at a time.

Step 5: Using star plate, form 2 1/2 inch bow ties on ungreased baking sheet

Step 6: Place cinnamon candy in center of bow

Step 7: Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until set, but not brown
