Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
How to Make

Step 1: Mix all ingredients, except vanilla, in a saucepan.

Step 2: Heat to rolling oil, stirring occasionally

Step 3: Boil 1 minute, without stiring

Step 4: Place saucepan over bowl of ice water and beat until spreading consistency
