Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Step 2: Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and then line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.
Step 3: Melt the chocolate and butter in a stainless steel bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 4: Meanwhile, in a large bowl whisk together the eggs and sugar.
Step 5: Fold in the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.
Step 6: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt and then fold into the chocolate and sugar mixture until well combined.
Step 7: Pour into the prepared pan and bake for about 45 - 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 8: Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
