Step 1: Dough: Dissolve yeast in Warm water.
Step 2: Add milk, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening and 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour. Mix till smooth.
Step 3: Add enough remaining dough to make dough easy to handle.
Step 4: Turn dough out onto a lightly floured, cloth covered surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
Step 5: Place dough in an oiled bowl, turning dough to coat in oil.
Step 6: Let rise, covered with a damp cloth, until doubled. approximately 1 hr.
Step 7: Combine all filling ingredients and set aside
Step 8: In a bowl combine topping ingredients. Spread in two prepared baking pans
Step 9: Punch down dough.
Step 10: Roll dough into two 12x7 inch rectangles and sprinkle with filling.
Step 11: Roll up, starting at the wide side. Pinch edge of rolls to seal well.
Step 12: Cut each roll into 15 slices and place on top of brown sugar mixture in pans
Step 13: Let rise until doubled.
Step 14: Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Step 15: Immediately turn pan upside down on a tray and let pan remain, allowing the butterscotch to drizzle over rolls.
