Step 1: In a pot over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter
Step 2: In a small bowl beat the egg slightly( whisking in a little of the hot chocolate mixture to the egg eases the blending) carefully whisk into the above mixture until nicely blended
Step 3: Remove from heat, add the graham crumbs
Step 4: Allow mixture to cool before folding in the marshmallows, walnuts, and cherries.You don't want to be melting the marshmallows
Step 5: Shape into a roll on wax paper, roll into the size you wish, making a nice smooth round roll shaped like a sausage
Step 6: For variety I like to roll in flaked coconut or finely chopped nuts which gives it an extra special look. Chill in refrigerator until set, best overnight. Slice and serve
Step 7: NOTE: I like to roll the log in either flaked coconut or finely chopped nuts
