Step 1: Pour the dry rice into the rice cooker, add the broth, ginger, garlic and sesame oil and stir to blend.
Step 2: Add the frozen jumbo shrimp, close lid and start the rice cooker; when the rice cooker is done cooking the rice let the rice sit for 5 minutes without opening the lid.
Step 3: Fluff the rice, season with soy sauce to taste and serve.
