Step 1: Drain oysters, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Chill oysters and set oyster liquid aside.
Step 2: Place 1/8 cup butter in the top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and cook until the butter melts. Add flour, 1 teaspoon salt, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of black pepper, stirring until smooth. Gradually add reserved oyster liquid and milk; cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened. Remove from heat; stir in sherry. Cover and chill for one hour.
Step 3: Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Place noodles in a glass baking dish; top with chilled oysters. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, and paprika. Pour chilled sauce over the oysters.
Step 4: Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter in a small bowl; sprinkle evenly over the sauce. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
