Step 1: Cut the broccoli into spears discarding the thick ends; steam or cook till tender and then remove.
Step 2: Melt butter in a large non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat.
Step 3: When butter foams, add the lemon juice and cook for 30 seconds; then add the broccoli, lemon zest, salt, and pepper tossing for 1-2 minutes till broccoli is well-coated.
Step 4: NOTE: For a quicker method, use 2 (10-ounce) boxes frozen broccoli cooked according to directions on box; then follow the above recipe.
