Step 1: Cut the pepper croswise in half.
Step 2: Cut half the pepper into thin slices.
Step 3: Seed the other half and chop very small.
Step 4: Mix meat, egg, garlic and chopped pepper.
Step 5: Form into 8 patties.
Step 6: Distribute half the cheese and the sliced jalapenos on 4 patties.
Step 7: Top with the other patties.
Step 8: Really seal the edges.
Step 9: In a lightly oiled skillet fry the patties, 6 minutes each side
Step 10: Brush with the BBQ sauce as you are frying them.
Step 11: Top with remaining cheese, cover pan to let it melt.
Step 12: While the burgers are cooking toast the inside of the buns.
Step 13: Fill the buns with the cheese burger, lettuce and bacon.
Step 14: Enjoy.
