Step 1: Wash the okra, dry well and fry it with 1/4 c oil until it turns light brown. Remove and hold on paper towels.
Step 2: In another pot, mix the oil, garlic ,tomato ,sugar salt, pepper. Gradually add water and lemon juice and tomato sauce and cook 10 minutes over low heat until the sauce thick. Add the okra and continue to cook about 10 minutes more.
