Step 1: Transfer the lentils and water to the pot and cook until the lentils are soft, about 20 minutes.
Step 2: Meanwhile fry the onion separately, Stir occasionally and continue until the onion is golden brown.
Step 3: When the onion is ready (and also lentils), transfer it with the oil to the pot of lentils and water (do not pour off the water!).
Step 4: Add the bulgur and spices, stir and cook covered 10 minutes.
Step 5: Turn off the heat, cover the pan with a towel and let it stand so about 10 minutes before eating.
