Step 1: In a buttered coddler place 2 teaspoons heavy cream and a pinch of ham and chives; season with salt and pepper. Add egg; top with 2 teaspoons cream along with some more ham and chives.
Step 2: Seal; cook 8-10 minutes in simmering water or until done.
Step 3: Serve with toast.
