Step 1: Preheat barbecue chargrill on medium-high.
Step 2: Cut pineapple crossways, and then into 1cm-thick slices. Place in a bowl.
Step 3: Add sugar to pineapple. Toss to coat. Cook pineapple for 1 minute each side or until caramelised.
Step 4: Serve.
