Step 1: Mix the ground meat, panko, egg, carne asada & salsa together.
Step 2: Season with salt & pepper.
Step 3: Form into 4 patties 1/2 inch thick.
Step 4: Place a lightly oiled skillet over medium high heat, add onion.
Step 5: Fry and stir a few times for 4 minutes.
Step 6: Add meat patties cook 6 minutes.
Step 7: Flip the burger, stir the onions & add mushrooms.
Step 8: Continue cooking the burgers for apprx 6 more minutes stirring the onions & mushrooms.
Step 9: Meanwhile toast the buns on one side.
Step 10: Spread the bottoms with cream cheese.
Step 11: Add burgers to the bun.
Step 12: Cover with the mushrooms & onion, or have them on the side.
Step 13: Add any other condiments on top.
Step 14: Enjoy!
