Step 1: In large mixing bowl, stir together grape gelatin, hot water, pineapple and pie filling. Spread in serving dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
Step 2: In medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
Step 3: Fold in whipped topping. Spread on top of gelatin mixture when ready to serve.
