Step 1: Cook bacon, cool and crumble
Step 2: Cut mini pitas in half with scissors or sharp knife
Step 3: In bowl microwave butter and onions until soft (about 2 minutes)
Step 4: Add cream cheese and blend with mixer until creamy, fold in crumbled bacon, tomato and peppers, stuff into the halved mini pitas
Step 5: I put them on a cookie sheet heating through in a 350 oven, makes for a marvellous hot appetiser. Also excellent at room temperature
