Step 1: Soak and wash collard greens in a colander.
Step 2: Rinse and chop the greens into 1” pieces.
Step 3: In a large pot boil water with the ham hock. Add pepper.
Step 4: Drop the collards into the water and cook until limp
Step 5: Cook for 60 minutes.
