Step 1: Cook ground beef and onions. Drain
Step 2: Stir in 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce, 1 Tablespoon parmesan, salt, pepper and spices.
Step 3: Remove tops and seeds from peppers, cut in half lengthwise place in bottom of ungreased baking dish.
Step 4: Spoon mixture on top. spoon rest of tomato sauce over and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Step 5: Bake 20 - 30 minutes or pepper are tender. let set 5 minutes before serving
